Lifetime Guarantee on Gold Plated Jewelry

John Bolé is committed to providing the highest standard of jewelry, which is why we offer a Lifetime Guarantee on all non-custom Gold Plated, Gold Filled, and Vermeil jewelry — including brass-plated, sterling silver-plated, and stainless steel-plated pieces.

If your plated piece is damaged or stops functioning under normal wear, this guarantee entitles you to a one-time replacement of the identical piece, brand new, shipped to you once the warranty processing fee below is paid. If we no longer carry the item, you will instead receive store credit equal to the value of the item.

This is a one-time benefit per item — once a piece has been replaced under this guarantee, that replacement is not eligible for a second warranty claim.

How It Works

  1. Email support@johnbole.com with your order number to start a warranty claim.

  2. We’ll review your claim and send you instructions for returning the damaged piece. Please note: once a damaged item is received at our warehouse, we are unable to return it to you.

  3. Once inspected and approved, a $9.99 warranty processing fee is due before your replacement (or store credit) is issued.

  4. Your new piece ships out once the fee is paid.

What’s Covered

  • Breakage or structural damage under normal daily wear

  • Loss of plating or fading under normal daily wear

  • Water-related fading or tarnish — stainless steel-plated items only

What’s Not Covered

  • Water damage on brass-plated or sterling silver-plated items (showering, swimming, sweating, etc.)

  • Damage or discoloration from perfume, cologne, lotion, makeup, hairspray, or other chemical or cosmetic products

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or improper storage

  • Custom jewelry — not eligible for this guarantee

3-Year Craftsmanship Warranty on Beaded Bracelets

All John Bolé beaded bracelets — including custom pieces — are covered by a 3-Year Craftsmanship Warranty from the date of purchase. We stand behind the quality of every piece we curate and design.

What’s Covered

  • String or elastic breakage

  • Bead cracking, chipping, or defects present at the time of purchase

  • Clasp failure or malfunction

  • Construction defects in knots or assembly

What’s Not Covered

  • Damage from water, perfume, lotion, hairspray, or chemical exposure

  • Intentional damage, misuse, or neglect

  • Lost or stolen items

  • Repairs or alterations made by a third party — doing so voids the warranty

How to Claim

Email support@johnbole.com with your order number and a photo of the defect within 3 years of your purchase date. Approved claims will receive a free replacement or store credit if the item is no longer available.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unworn, in original packaging, and include all tags. To start a return, email support@johnbole.com or log in to your member account to use the self-return portal.

We do not offer exchanges. If you’d like a different size or style, return your original item and place a new order.

  • We provide a prepaid return label for all standard returns.

  • Approved returns are refunded in full to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
